The Fiorillo family trades textiles in Naples since 1889, year in which they launch their first store in Piazza del Municipio. Paolo Fiorillo, of the third generation, having studied music, appeared to be destined to a different future. But after 10 years spent around the world with his guitar as a messenger of avant-garde sound, of costumes and trends of the age, he interrupts his artistic career to follow the family businesses.
In 1976 he meets Diego Della Valle, and a relationship based on esteem and profound friendship instantly arises between the two.
In 1984 Diego Della Valle summons him to start the adventure that will make him commit, until present day, for the launch of the Tod’s, Fay and Hogan brands. After more than 30 years of collaboration, today Paolo Fiorillo continues to distribute the three brands, is partner of the Della Valle family in numerous Tod’s, Hogan and Fay stores, as well as owning multibrand stores in the cities of Naples, Salerno and Reggio Calabria. Today, the son Luca Manfredi Fiorillo contributes to the growth of the family business with his international background.
Certainly, Paolo Fiorillo never forgot his artistic past. As a matter of fact in 2014 he composes “Capri Song” with his friends Mogol and Peppino di Capri, which instantly becomes the hymn of the blue island. In 2014 he also launches the perfume “Capri Musk” that is adopted by all the international jet set attending Capri, an island that Paolo Fiorillo always kept at heart. A passion shared with his friends Diego and Andrea Della Valle, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, Carlo Rossella, Luigi Abete, Tonino Cacace, Fiona Swarovski, Aurelio de Laurentiis, Wolf Chitis, Nina Stevens and Francesca Valtorta that, like him, hide there during spare time.
